🍀USAGE DIRECTION: Take 4 tbs of Henna powder in bowl, add cup of room temperature black tea or coffee. Stir the mixture with spoon, if needed add little water to form pudding like consistency. You can also add 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice in this mixture (skip if you have dry hair).Cover the bowl and let it sit for at least 5 hours (overnight preferred) for the dye release. Wear gloves and apply Vaseline/oil on your forehead along the hair line (to avoid staining the skin red). Section your hair, apply Henna mixture along the roots and hair line with gloved hand. Cover the hair with shower cap or head wrap. Leave Henna on the hair for 2-3 hours, wash with lukewarm water only, do not apply shampoo.

🍀What is Henna (Lawsonia Inermis )?

Henna is the tall Shrub, native to the Indian Subcontinent and northern Africa. Dry leaves powder of this shrub is used as natural Henna dye to achieve orange to copper red tone on Hair and skin.

🍀What should I Keep in mind while using Henna Powder?

  1. It is for external use only.
  2. Henna needs liquid/water and time to release the dye. Keep Henna paste for at least 5-6 hours before application.
  3. Henna paste can stain your skin. Apply Vaseline or other thick lotion on the forehead and behind the ears before Henna application. Wear hand gloves and/or use the mask applicator to apply Henna on the hair strand.
  4. Longer the Henna stays on Hair, deeper will be the color shade. To get the darker shade, keep Henna for at least 3 hours before washing with water.
  5. Do not use shampoo for 72 hours after Henna application.
  6. It can cause irritation of the eyes. If direct contact occur, rinse the eyes immediately with plenty of cold water.
  7. Use the airtight container to store the powder, avoid moisture contamination
  8. As with any natural product, always test for the allergy before using it first time. (Instructions can be found on back of the package)

🍀 Can I use this Henna for body art?

Yes. Our Henna powder is without any additives. We recommend that you do allergy test before using it on hair and skin.

🍀 Why should I use Henna Dye?

Henna is natural hair dye, which is Ammonia, paraben, PPD and other chemicals as well as preservatives free. Not only it gives hair beautiful red tone, but it will also make hair stronger, thicker and shiny.

🍀 Can I use Henna to blacken my white hair?

Henna do not blacken the hair. Henna alone will give orange-red tone to white/grey hair. For Black hair, use Henna and Indigo dye together (Instructions can be found on the back of our package)

 🍀 Will I able to do highlights after dyeing my hair with Henna?

Our Henna powder is pure and metallic chemical free, so it is safe to do highlighting after that. However, Henna can interfere with the color of your chemical dye which may result in the unexpected/different final hair color. We recommend that you consult your hairstylist before applying any chemical dye on Henna dyed hair.
